Introduction
Chi Omega is a women’s fraternity that promotes friendship, leadership, and service. We are committed to our philanthropy, which benefits children in need through the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Every year, we raise money for this foundation through a variety of events. Here is a list of our upcoming events:
-Our biggest event of the year is our Halloween party, which will be held on October 31st. This party is open to the public and all proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
-We will also be holding a bake sale on November 1st.
-On November 2nd, we will be having a car wash.
-And finally, on November 3rd, we will be holding a beauty pageant. This event is open to all women on campus and all proceeds will go to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

What is Chi Omega?
Chi Omega is a women’s fraternity that was founded on April 5, 1895 at the University of Arkansas. Chi Omega has over 300,000 initiated members and 170 collegiate chapters. Their philanthropy is Make-A-Wish Foundation®. Since 1982, Chi Omega has helped to grant more than 12,500 wishes to children with life-threatening medical conditions.
What are some of Chi Omega’s philanthropy events?
Each year, the women of Chi Omega host several philanthropy events to raise money for our national philanthropy, Make-A-Wish Foundation. Some of our most popular events include:
-Wake Up for Make-A-Wish: This is a coffee and donut sale held in the morning before classes. All proceeds go to Make-A-Wish.
-Miracle Market: This is an indoor garage sale with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish. It’s a great opportunity to do some fall shopping and help children with life-threatening illnesses at the same time!
-Dodgeball Tournament: This event is always a lot of fun! Teams of 6 compete against each other in a tournament with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish. There are usually great prizes for the winning team!
How can I get involved with Chi Omega’s philanthropy events?
Omega Week is our biggest philanthropy event of the school year! It is a week-long series of events that culminates in a basketball tournament. The proceeds of Omega Week go to Make-A-Wish, and in the past we have been able to grant wishes for two incredible kids. To get involved with Omega Week, you can sign up to be a part of a team, help with set-up or clean-up, or donate online. You can also come out and support the event by attending some of the activities or cheering on your favorite team!
Conclusion
Our final philanthropy event of the year is our Halloween party benefiting Make-A-Wish Foundation. We will have a costume contest, food, and games with all proceeds going to Make-A-Wish. This is always a great event and we hope to see you there!
