The Company has a rich history dating back to its founding in 1950 by William J. Pulte, who built his first home in Detroit. Since 2000, PulteGroup has delivered over 600,000 new homes.

We are a customer-focused lender offering a variety of loan programs to meet the unique financing needs of each borrower. Impact of Pulte Philanthropy
Tom and Joanne Pulte founded the Pulte Family Foundation in 2001 with a focus on education, health and human services. In 2016, the Pultes gave $12.5 million to Habitat for Humanity. PulteGroup also has a long-standing commitment to military families and has donated more than $25 million to Veterans and military families through its Built to Honor Program.
PulteGroup Foundation’s impact
Since its inception, the PulteGroup Foundation has awarded more than $35 million to charitable organizations. These grants support a variety of causes, including:
-Habitat for Humanity: The PulteGroup Foundation has partnered with Habitat for Humanity since 2001. To date, the Foundation has awarded more than $26 million to Habitat for Humanity International and its local affiliates. This support has helped to build or repair more than 2,650 homes for families in need.
-Youth development: The PulteGroup Foundation supports numerous organizations that provide programs and services to young people. These grants help youth develop academic skills, gain workforce experience and build leadership skills. To date, the Foundation has awarded more than $5 million to organizations such as Junior Achievement USA, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America and Boys & Girls Clubs of America.
-Disaster relief: The PulteGroup Foundation provides support to families and communities impacted by natural disasters. Since 2001, the Foundation has awarded more than $2 million in disaster relief grants to organizations such as the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity International.

Since its inception, Pulte Mortgage’s Community Connection has donated over $975,000 and recruited more than 4,000 volunteers to support various causes throughout the country. The company’s philanthropic efforts began in response to the housing crisis in 2008 and have continued to grow in scope and reach.
Pulte Mortgage’s Community Connection has supported a variety of causes, including Habitat for Humanity, the American Red Cross, the Salvation Army, and many others. The company has also partnered with organizations like United Way and NeighborWorks America to help make a difference in the lives of those in need.
